Who Am I?
Hi. I’m Noah.
I’ve always been a creative guy. Finding ways to express my ideas has been a constant motivator in my pursuit of life.
My first creative venture started in third grade. I had a great idea that aimed to make people laugh and build a sense of community. Wearing my inspirations on my sleeve, I sketched a comic strip with Diary of a Wimpy Kid-esque characterizations of me and my friends. I showed my friends who thought it was funny, then I showed the playground who wanted more. Thus the NGC (Noah, Gavin, Carson) Comic Company was born, operating for nearly two years before its last print was issued in 2010.
The reality is that I was a kid that needed to create. I loved making things to share with people. Seeing the emotional impact that a story can have on someone drove me to tell more stories for more people in more ways.
The reality is that I am obsessed with storytelling.
My journey as a storyteller begins with my love for cinema. I find inspiration in the visual creations of others, and have been in awe of the video medium since my first viewing of The Empire Strikes Back nearly 20 years ago. To this day I remember my disbelief when Luke lifted his X-Wing out of the swampy marsh of Dagobah. It all seemed so real. It was magical. I wanted to make movies of my own. I wanted to learn that magic.
In 2011, I was blessed with my first camcorder for Christmas from my wonderful aunt. Since then it’s been a spiral of discovery, passion, and progress . From starting a fun little YouTube channel, to managing video projects at my school, to working with local brands on video advertisements, to now: video and digital content creation has been my calling, and is my favorite thing to do.
I am influenced by everyone that I have encountered in this journey in some way shape or form. I find inspiration in others’ stories, experiences, and daily lives. Each encounter inspires new stories, new perspectives… new shots and new angles. I aim for these inspirations to shine through the story and allow the feelings of the moment to permeate into a digital memory.
This is my story. What’s yours? I’m excited to help you tell it.
